“All children have the right to fulfill nutritional, health, educational and recreational needs to promote their integral development. Their caretakers, teachers and custodians must preserve these rights and the State has the duty to promote respect for the dignity of all children and the full exercise of their rights.” Mexican Constitution, Article 4

Violence prevention is at the core of the work of Centro Mujeres—as it critical in driving long-term positive change in Baja California Sur. Through the program Little Ones, the organization aims to prevent sexual abuse, a toxic form of violence. Working directly with young children, parents, teachers and school counselors, the Little Ones program establishes a new framework to create healthy children that thrive and grow into productive adults.
